Meet the director Traci Hays

Traci developed her directing sensibility under the mentorship of Martha Coolidge (Real Genius) and Randal Kleiser (Grease). Her time spent working with such notable industry professionals nurtured and prepared her as a creative individual, confident director, and passionate human being. Her work can be best described as intuitive and multi-layered, with a process that always begins with the characters. Traci has a unique eye for casting and an attention to detail in a wide variety of genres and settings, from historic to present day.

Her recent directing credits include the TV Pilot, Alive Again, Produced by Legacy Films and Media, the documentary Ecstasy Lives out of Balance, produced for the County of Santa Clara, and a short 1800s period film, Lions Among Men starting Johanna Watts (American Warship) and Dayo Okeniyi (The Hunger Games, The Spectacular Now). In addition, Lions Among Men was selected in the TOP 10 for DGA Student Film Awards.

Growing up on classic musicals in San Jose, California, Traci developed her taste as an artist through theater productions. This love for the arts blossomed into filmmaking after taking her first film class in high school. Traci earned her B.F.A. in Film Production from Chapman University.

Above all, Traci Hays is an industrious, driven, and organized individual consistently looking to collaborate with talented filmmakers to transform their brightest ideas from the page to the screen.

Meet the writer Jake Eberle

Jake Eberle has always been something of a dreamer. Early in life, figuring out how to apply that in the real world was tricky. Fortunately, he had the volumes of classic fables and fairy tales from around the world in his father’s library that provided an ample playground for his young and vivid imagination. But then, just reading the stories wasn’t enough, so it was only natural to him that the theater would be a perfect place to explore. He worked as an actor in theater from childhood to the present, with various stints on TV and film, as well as writing adaptations of old children’s tales for the stage.

Then there’s voice acting in video games, children’s narratives, commercials and documentaries. And parallel to those passions is his craft -work as a sound designer/editor which has evolved over the last twenty years working on film, TV, commercials, theater and music-videos. And though a great deal of experience has been gained adding life to other peoples dreams, it was now time to put life into his own. And it’s all starting with MATCH.
